This is a small editorial site. It collects very little, and this page says exactly what.
What we collect
Our web server keeps standard access logs: IP address, browser user agent, the page requested, and a timestamp. These are used to diagnose errors and spot abuse, and they are discarded on a rolling basis.
If you email us, we keep that email and our reply so we have a record of the conversation. We do not add you to any mailing list from that.
We do not ask for your name, we do not run a newsletter signup, and we do not have accounts, so there is nothing to register for and no password of yours for us to lose.
Cookies
Browsing the site does not require cookies. WordPress may set a cookie if you leave a comment or log in as an editor, and our caching layer may set a technical cookie to serve the right version of a page. Neither is used to build a profile of you.
Affiliate links
The “Visit” button on a tool review page sends you to that vendor’s own website. Vendors commonly set a cookie at that point to attribute the referral, which is how we get paid. That cookie is theirs, set on their domain, and governed by their privacy policy rather than this one. Their practices are not something we control. Third parties
Our host processes traffic on our behalf in order to serve the site. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google’s servers see the IP address of visitors requesting those font files.
We do not sell data, share it with data brokers, or run advertising networks on this site.
Your rights
If you are in the UK, EU, or another jurisdiction with equivalent law, you can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. In practice, for most visitors, the honest answer is that we hold nothing beyond a fading server log entry.
